Who runs this

Hi, I am Rachel Boyd. I have been cutting vinyl since 2016, first on a Cricut Explore Air 2 and now on a Maker 3 that lives on my dining table and never gets put away. I started FreeSVGShop after one too many evenings spent clicking through pop-ups and email walls just to get one Santa hat file for a last-minute gift.

The whole site is built around one idea: find the design, see it clearly, download it in a few seconds, get back to your project. No account, no credits, no "join our list to unlock", no fake countdown timers.

How files get on the site

Every design is checked before it goes live. That means opening it, looking at the paths, making sure the cut lines are closed and the layers are separated properly, and stripping anything unnecessary out of the file. Designs with obvious trademark problems — characters, team logos, brand names — get rejected, and anything that slips past gets removed as soon as it is reported.

Files are sorted into 25 collections and 500 categories instead of one endless gallery, so searching for a Christmas design does not bury you in unrelated artwork. Downloads include the SVG plus DXF and PNG versions where the artwork allows, so Silhouette Basic and Cameo users are covered too.

How the site stays free

Advertising. That is it. There is no membership tier, no credit system and no email wall, and I would rather run ads than gate a free file behind a signup form. Files are free for personal projects and for selling up to 500 finished items — the full terms are on the license page.
